With a total installed capacity of 11.100 Ton/day in two units we invested on the right in time transformation of fresh tomatoes to capture the freshness and natural taste of tomato.

To pack fresh tomato will allow its usage in places where this raw material can´t grow or to allow its usage all year round and not only in season time. At Sugalidal we pack the fresh tomato concentrated- tomato paste –we take the water from the tomato to reduce the volume and, this way, lowering the cost of transportation, packaging and storage.

Tomato is brought from the fields and inspected in our facilities, if accepted we´ll start industrial process which is mainly divided in 3 stages- juice preparation, concentration and packing.

STAGE 1- tomato is washed, crushed and heated to allow the skins and seeds to be extracted on the refiners (screens): at the end of this stage we have the tomato juice = natural tomato juice without or with less skins and seeds, depending on the end product specifications.
STAGE 2 -Tomato juice will be concentrated by evaporation of water - using steam and vacuum.
STAGE 3- Tomato already concentrated is then sterilized to guarantee the food safety of the processed product and packed properly.

Our tomato, coming directly from the field, is now ready to be distributed to our customers and used as a basis for delicious sauces, juices and other tomato-based products.
