With the modernisation and mechanisation
of the harvesting the tomato crop along with the proximity
supply, SUGAL realised that speed and efficiency of delivery
and processing was of the utmost importance. We have therefore
invested in and employed the latest technology to capture
the freshness of the tomatoes.
Over the last five years we
have completely renewed all of our equipment, giving us
a daily capacity of about 3.500 metric tonnes of raw material
and can boast that we have the fastest turn-round from
cropping to processing in the whole of Portugal.
